The basic for this recipe was created by my mother. I just changed one ingredience. This is hering with apples, onions and an orange paprika. Spices are only pepper and dill, because the hering has enough salt. The original recipe is with cheese instead of paprika – but that would not be paleo. Anyway, have it as you like it!
I love bringing this salad to barbecue parties. Many people look at it skeptical, but most like it when they try it. But it can also be just a snack or a full meal. Quick, easy and healthy.
