THE TEX AVERY SYNDROME | Metal & High Heels Podcast 66
THE TEX AVERY SYNDROME like Looney Tunes comics a lot – of course, you can read it in their band name -, but they don’t really like highly produced blockbusters like the recent Marvel and DC movies. They love the old Thrash Metal bands and don’t want to sound overly produced. Now you know where this leads to – they are not ashamed to leave a riff, a song or a vocal line imperfect. It’s part of their sound and that’s fine!

We had the pleasure to talk to vocalist Laura and guitar player Nico about how the band started, their debut album “Origin”, feminism and masculinity. Also a lot of personal stuff, including one impressive and true quote:
“It’s ok to feel sad and to feel stuck and it’s absolutely ok to reach out for help.“
