While Pia‘s travels force her to miss a recording of the Metal & High Heels Podcast, Steffi and Kiki discuss several bands that have made their way into record labels and media that are better known for covering heavier Metal bands. We’ve been wondering how come Blues Rock bands, like the Swedish BLUES PILLS and the Norwegian PRISTINE, got signed to Nuclear Blast, which is known as the biggest record label in Metal. BLUES PILLS also headlined 2017’s Rock Hard Festival in Germany, a rather old-school Heavy Metal Festival.
Have they just jumped on the wagon of Women In Metal to promote this softer bands? Or is Blues Rock a legitimate Metal sub-genre? Listen to us talk about the this and join the conversation through our social media channels. Also, laugh with us at the end, when Steffi’s internet connection brakes down and she can’t say good-bye.
